Vasanti Cosmetics - Makeup Makeover Testimonial

Last December Vasanti invited me in for a makeover I was sure to enjoy. I arrived at their location in Toronto in Fairview Mall and Rhona was there ready to get started. I hardly waited 5 minutes before we got right into it. It was very relaxing and less intrusive than I had expected. She started out by asking me what type of colors I like. “Warm, cool, or neutral tones?” she inquired so that she could get a better idea of what shades I would most likely prefer. After a bit of chit chat about the company and its products we dove right into the makeover.

She began by lightly applying the foundation and cover up in a careful and very detailed manner. She then moved on to the blush and eye shadow that transformed my appearance immediately to a natural evening look. With the amount of brushes, palettes, and colours she had laid across her counter, you would think she was a painter.

I really enjoyed my Vasanti makeover for many reasons. The big one being that Rhona had an amazingly pleasant personality and it was so easy to get into a conversation with her. She really made the makeover comfortable and relaxing. Basically, she knew every aspect of the job she was performing so I had no worries. Another important factor was the fact that I could give a lot of input into the type and amount of makeup being used. This is a breath of fresh air as compared to other beauticians who have a mentality that they are right and whatever makeup they like is best, whether you agree or not. Rhona was also very knowledgeable. During each stage of the makeover she would explain why she was applying that particular type of makeup and furthermore, she would clarify how to properly put on the makeup so I could correctly do it at home. Vasanti’s colors and shades are remarkably diverse and can be customized to enhance any skin and color type.

In the end, I absolutely enjoyed my makeover. It was like being on a short vacation in the Bahamas. The best part about their makeup is that it’s light and will not cake up. The soothing line of products feels like it’s moisturizing your face and will never dry out your skin. When I left, I honestly felt like there was no make up on my face and had a little hop in my step because I looked so good. I would recommend a makeover at Vasanti as well as any of there products. They will not disappoint you, ladies!
