Vasanti Cosmetics Perfect for All Skin Tones

There are so many different cosmetics companies out there that it’s hard to know the good ones from the not-so-good ones. How are you supposed to know which companies have products that will work well with your skin tones and enhance your features; products that won’t irritate your skin and feel good on?

On a whim one day, I decided to purchase some products from Vasanti Cosmetics. I had originally heard that Vasanti created products for people with yellow-based skin tones. As I have pink skin tones, I hadn’t thought to try their products. After I did a bit more research, however, I learned that Vasanti has products for all complexions.

I decided to try two items - a Face Base (V1, because of my fair complexion) and a Lip Balm (Bahamas, a sheer, pale plum colour).

The first thing I noticed when I got my products was the scent of the Lip Balm – a sweet, guava scent. I was enamoured with it. When I put it on, I was just as impressed. It felt light on, was very moisturizing, and gave my lips just the slightest hint of colour. There are times when you don’t want or need to be wearing a dark lipstick – this Lip Balm is perfect for times like that.

I was just as impressed with the Face Base. Again, the product feels very light when it’s you’re wearing it. Some powders end up not only feeling, but also looking, very thick when they’re on. Happily, it was not the case with Vasanti’s powder/foundation. I can use it on my face without worrying about it being noticeable, or about lines where the foundation doesn’t blend in with my skin. It also feels like you don’t have anything on in the first place. That’s the way I always thought make up should be.

Another thing I had been worried about was how my skin would react to the ingredients in the products. I have sensitive skin, and on occasion this has resulted in red blotches on my face where I haven’t reacted well to the cosmetics. I can say, after trying these products, though, that I had nothing to worry about – no red blotches from products that irritated my skin.

I am definitely looking forward to experimenting with different products by Vasanti Cosmetics.
