Best Hair Products - What Do You Need?

When you style your hair, odds are you need at least one product to keep it in the style you want. Hair sprays, gels, mousses, serums, waxes and texturizers are just a few of the many options there are in hair products. So how do you know what you need? Read on for more details.

If you're straightening your hair

If straight hair is your style, but isn't how your hair naturally is, there are a few options for hair products. Someone with wavy hair that doesn't take much effort to straighten can use a flat iron and a light dusting of hairspray for a nice finish. For those of us with thick, hard to straighten curls/frizz, that may not be enough. Try straightening serums that you apply to your hair before straightening. If you wear it curly

If you want bouncing curls, it can be extremely difficult without the right products. For people with naturally curly/wavy hair, mousse will hold those curls while still allowing them some movement. Be careful when applying mousse, as if you apply too much to one area your hair will become sticky and crunchy. Also, if you miss areas of your hair, it's likely that your hair will become frizzy in those spots.

Wearing the Waves

If you wear your hair wavy, it generally means that your hair has a great wave to it already. To keep your hair from going frizzy and unmanageable, wavy haired people simply need to use a frizz serum or some hair spray to finish.
